Enoteca Offers Local and Organic Menu Items

The North Shore’s first BYOB wine bar, 2nd Street Enoteca, has opened in Highland Park. Owners Bobby and Debbie Dubin serve up a contemporary Italian menu of local, organic and sustainable items, designed specifically for pairing gourmet food with wines brought in by customers, with no corking fee.

2nd Street Enoteca joins adjacent sibling, 2nd Street Bistro, at 1825 Second Street, as the only BYOB restaurants in Highland Park. The Dubins, previously the successful owners of Gusto Italiano, in Glenview, have brought back popular Chef Rico Herrera to work with Executive Chef Michael Gottlieb.

The restaurant offers authentic Italian fare, including local and imported salami, cheeses, fresh-daily antipasti, hand-formed brick oven pizzas, uniquely designed pastas and regional Italian entrées. Daily specials highlight seasonal ingredients.
