Light: the Missing Link to Optimal Health

Edgar Cayce, “the sleeping prophet,” spoke about light in a metaphorical or symbolic way and also in more physical terms about therapeutic benefits. David Allen and Yvonne Hedeker, founders of Light Health Research, will speak from 1:30 to 4:30 p.m., March 17, at the Edgar Cayce Holistic Center and Bookstore inside Unity Northwest Church, in Des Plaines, about the role of light in our bodies and what has been discovered in 40 years of research, including how to use light to recharge the body like a battery, the role of light in health, light as nutrition and a discussion of the significant impact of light therapy on the body’s ability to regenerate, create energy, improve immunity and reverse aging.

As time permits, complimentary 30-minute phototherapy sessions with the DreamSpa will be conducted. Participants will experience a whole new level of renewal, as each session feels like a night of restorative sleep.

Admission: free will offering, ($20 suggested). All proceeds contributed to the A.R.E. Chicago Area’s Leo Pinelli Scholarship Fund. Location: 259 E. Central Rd., Des Plaines. To register, call 847-299-6535 or email
