Volunteer, Perform or Exhibit at Chicago Green Festival

Green America and Global Exchange will present the seventh annual Chicago Green Festival from May 18 to 19, at Navy Pier, and they are looking for additional speakers, exhibitors and volunteers to make this year’s event an even more memorable occasion.

The nation’s premier sustainability and social responsibility event embraces a trifold mission of sustainable economy, ecological balance and social justice. “We look forward to embracing innovative programming that reflects the many facets of our diverse community,” says Regional Director Elsa M. Jacobson. The application deadline for speakers is March 15.

Areas of interest include lifestyle, social justice, food, energy, fashion, community, business, culture, yoga and movement and kids. Women, minorities, entrepreneurs, activists and outside-the-box thinkers are all encouraged to apply. “Our vision includes those whose ideas fit into more than one of these categories, and our audiences especially enjoy participatory presentations and lively panels,” adds Jacobson.
