Bodhi Spiritual Center is Moving

After 12 years of Community in Chicago’s Lincoln Park neighborhood, Bodhi Spiritual Center is moving, and will hold its first Sunday Celebration Service at its new West Town location on March 6, at 10 a.m. in the Vittum Theater, 1012 North Noble Street. Childcare and youth programming are available for ages up to 18 years old during services.

Spiritual Director Rev. Lola P. Wright grew up in Chicago and was raised by a family of spiritual seekers. She took her own spiritual deep dive when she found herself as a single mom of two young children at the age of 22. Wright studied with Bodhi’s Founder Rev. Mark Anthony Lord from 2006 until she was installed as spiritual director in May 2015. Wright completed her ministerial training at Emerson Theological Institute and now serves as a licensed minister with the Centers for Spiritual Living.

“We’re excited to partner with Northwestern Settlement in the use of the Vittum Theater,” says Wright. “We have a new home, but our mission remains the same: Reveal Love, Honor All Paths, Celebrate Life. No matter where or when you find us you can always count on ridiculous music, a powerful message and an inspiring community of people!”
