Infinity Family Fest Offers Mindful Play for Kids

The Infinity Family Fest, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., March 11, will provide playful, family fun with interactive hands-on mindful games activities. Parents and their children 3 and older will have fun with self-discovery moving and stretching in playful imagination with Yoga Stretch so Big; touching, seeing and discovering cool reptiles from the Lake Country Forest District with Exploring Critters; and exploring essential oils and their scents with fun games at Exciting Scents.

         They’ll enjoy participating in Story Time: I Breathe My Own Breathe, with author Kathleen Aharoni; watching an uplifting Magic Discover, with Magic by Randy, awarded Best Magician of the North Shore; preparing and tasting a veggie dish and raw sugar free chocolate at Yummy and Healthy; and going on an Art Adventure in mindfulness, creating a wheel of choices and painting emotional eggs.

         The event is sponsored by Yea! Highland Park, Highland Park Healthcare Foundation and media sponsor Natural Awakenings magazine. The nonprofit, educational Infinity Foundation offers more than 200 courses for kids and adults in personal growth and development.
