Spring Detox & Cleanse with Yoga

Dr. Dena Mendes

Yoga instructor Stephanie Adler and Dr. Dena Mendes are offering a 28-day yogic cleansing ritual to shake off the dust of winter hibernation and detoxify in a whole new way. This cleanse incorporates the physical, mental and emotional components of a spring cleanse.

A purifying and dynamic yoga practice takes place each week, focusing on the liver meridians and using breath techniques related to detoxification of the colon, liver, gallbladder and entire lymphatic system.

Learn the how, why and when of healthy detoxification principles. The hosts will provide medical detoxification supplements and powder, as well as an in-depth guide that includes healthy alternative, quick and easy-to-follow recipes.

Daytime hours are from 11:30 a.m. to 12:45 p.m., May 2, May 9, May 16 and May 23, at Healing Power Yoga, 495 Central Avenue, in Highland Park.
