GreenChoice Bank Recently Awarded LEED Platinum for Commercial Interiors Certification

GreenChoice Bank was recently awarded LEED Platinum for Commercial Interiors certification for its Chicago flagship branch, which opened in August 2011 at Green Exchange, 2545 West Diversey Avenue. Established by the U.S. Green Building Council and verified by the Green Building Certification Institute Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design (LEED), this green building certification system provides third-party verification that a building or community was designed and constructed or remodeled using sustainable building practices.

GreenChoice Bank achieved LEED Platinum, the highest attainable level of LEED certification, for its efficient use of energy, lighting, water and building material, and a variety of other sustainable strategies. It is the first LEED Platinum community bank location in the Midwest and one of only a few in the country.
