Recycle Runway’s Judd at Green Arts Show

The Third Annual Green Arts Show, a lively exhibit of works that reflect or promote sustainable ways of living, will be held September 17 through 25 at the Noyes Cultural Arts Center. The featured artist is Nancy Judd, of Recycle Runway, (recyclerunway.com). Her iconic fashion creations are meticulously crafted of reclaimed materials and have gained national attention by raising awareness of environmental issues in a lighthearted way. Recycle Runway projects are funded by Delta Airlines and Target.

Sponsors include Citizens' Greener Evanston (greenerevanston.org) and the Evanston Art Center, in partnership with the city of Evanston. Jurors include Nora Dietrich, director of the Evanston Art Center, and Harvey Pranian, of Harvey Antiques.

A reception will be held September 18, 5-8 p.m., and Judd will teach a workshop beforehand.
