The Green Read and The Green Spot bookstores are committed to providing high-quality, gently used books to our communities. The bookstores are run by the Environmental Defenders of McHenry County and staffed by volunteers. Proceeds support environmental initiatives including watershed protection, plastic and food waste reduction, recycling, clean energy, and prairie restoration.
