Real Love Retreat with Sharon Salzberg

Sharon Salzberg

Those that want to move beyond the standard definition of love as intense affection, romance, adoration, strong attachment and personal attraction may instead increase awareness and a sense of deep connection with self and others. Rather than fall in and out of love, rise in love. Experience and appreciate love as a more sustaining and sustainable kind of happiness.

Sharon Salzberg, one of the most influential meditation teachers in the West, will present her most recent work and upcoming release, Real Love: The Art of Mindful Connection, from 9:30 a.m. to 4: 30 p.m., August 19 and 20, at Techy Towers, in Northbrook. An optional evening session is available from 7 to 9 p.m., August 19, with time for questions and guided meditation. This retreat is for both new and experienced meditators.

Cost is $340; CEUs available; light continental breakfast and lunch included on both days. Location: Techny Towers, 2001 Waukegan Rd., Northbrook. Register at InfinityFoundation.org.
