An Introduction to the Work of Byron Katie

Paul Zavagno, MEd

Certified Facilitator Paul Zavagno, MEd, will introduce the work of Byron Katie in a three-week class from 7 to 9 p.m., February 16 and 23, and March 1, at First Church of Christ, Scientist, in Deerfield.

Zavagno will discuss a method of identifying and questioning the thoughts that cause stress and suffering in life. Participants will learn how to identify and question thoughts about a partner, boss, parent, child, sibling or anyone else that triggers anger, sadness, irritation or frustration. Four questions and the turnarounds that can lead to life change will be presented.

Zavagno is a retired educator who worked for more than 30 years as a teacher and administrator. He is a certified facilitator of The Work of Byron Katie and currently teaches classes and sees private clients. The class is sponsored by Abundant Life Unity Church, led by Carol Saunders, founder.
