Celebrate Green Week in Andersonville

Film screenings, demonstrations, local food tastings, workshops and discussions are on the agenda as Eco-Andersonville as the residents and businesses of Chicago’s Andersonville community celebrate Andersonville Green Week, from July 9 through 15. The third annual event will showcase the community’s commitment to fostering all things local and sustainable.

This year’s highlights include a pop-up park and kickoff celebration on Clark Street, a sustainability fair at the Swedish American Museum and an amateur brewing competition at the Neo-Futurist Theater.

The public is invited and admission is free. For more information and a list of events, call Brian Bonanno at 773-728-7552 or visit Eco-Andersonville.org/greenweek.
