Free Green Living Fair in Libertyville




The 2017 Green Living Fair will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., March 18, at the Libertyville Civic Center, sponsored by the Libertyville Civic Center Foundation, Lake County Green Congregations and Faith in Place.

         Attendees will have the opportunity to learn about Earth-healthy daily routines from more than 40 exhibitors, including local environmental groups, businesses and youth clubs. There will also be continuous 30-minute speaker forums addressing today’s environmental challenges.

         Recycling opportunities include bicycles, bike parts, Styrofoam blocks, CDs, DVDs, eyeglasses, Christmas lights, hearing aids, cell phones, gym shoes, wine corks and rechargeable and small, sealed, lead-acid batteries.
