Avoid the Springtime Frizzies

This is the time of year when Organic Roots Eco Salon starts getting calls about their safe keratin treatments and the world’s first professional organic hair color line made with biodynamic, fair trade ingredients and pure essential oils for all hair types. Customers may choose from 95 permanent, ammonia-free shades. Magic Sleek and Cezanne treatments are formaldehyde-free and nontoxic, with no down time. Clients can tie up and shampoo the same day.

Magic Sleek is long-lasting and customizable, eliminating frizz, but keeping curls or getting rid of curls entirely, with absolutely no formaldehyde or any ingredients that turn into it when heat is applied. Some Brazilian straightening treatments are dangerous, but Magic Sleek leaves hair in fabulous condition.

Owner Lori Goldstein says, “We had a client call because Magic Sleek and Cezanne (the other keratin we carry) are the only two her doctor said are safe, even during pregnancy. Have no fear of spring showers or summer humidity. We can take care of that!”

Location: 3417 Dempster St., Skokie. For appointments, call 847-423-2653 or book online at OrganicRootsEcoSalon.com.
