Jasper to Teach Uplifting Yoga for Girls at Be Optimal

From Anxious to Awesome is a six-week yoga series of 90-minute classes at the Be Optimal Wellness Center of Glenview, developed to help girls 8 to 12 years old build self-esteem, become friends with their bodies and be centered in busy times. The series runs Thursdays from 4 to 5:30 p.m., starting October 24.

Instructor Samana Jasper, PT, RYT, a specialist in therapeutic yoga for children, will teach yoga practices, breathing techniques, art projects and education for the girls.

Cost is $108 for series or $20/drop-in. RSVP required. Location: 1249 Waukegan Rd., Glenview, IL. For more information and to register, call 847-486-8000 or visit BeOptimal.com.
