It’s a Hullabaloo! And a Fun One, too

The third annual Talking Farm Hullabaloo will be held from 2 to 6 p.m., September 21, at its Howard Street farm. This festival of sustainability promises to be a fun, family-friendly way to spend a day outdoors. Hullabaloo 2013, presented by the area nonprofit, will celebrate the harvest season with live acoustic music, snacks, an apple cider press exhibit, gardening demonstrations, roasting marshmallow over a fire, games, farm tours and more.

“We’re really excited for this year’s Hullabaloo,” says The Talking Farm’s Lu Ann Stempel. “Not only will the event be our biggest ever, we moved the date earlier than years past to take advantage of the North Shore’s beautiful early fall weather.” The Talking Farm’s mission is to cultivate healthy, sustainable communities by supporting the production and appreciation of locally grown food.

Suggested donation is $5. Location: 3701 Howard St. RSVP to Hullabaloo2013.Eventbrite.com. Sponsors, exhibitors and volunteers may email [email protected].
