Enjoy Forest Preserve District Recreational Bike Club Rides

The Forest Preserve District of Will County is hosting four free Rec Bike Club rides for ages 16 and older this fall. Participants that complete all four rides will receive a promotional rechargeable bike taillight.

Centennial Trail, Romeoville: 5:30 to 7 p.m., September 8. This 7.2-mile ride begins by crossing the historic swing bridge and continues through forested areas leading to a view of the Des Plaines River.

Messenger Marsh, Homer Glen: 10 to 11:30 a.m., September 24. Bike 5.5 miles though beautiful forests and prairies.

Hadley Valley, Joliet: 5:30 to 7 p.m., October 13. Ride 7.1 miles on the Spring Creek Greenway Trail through a beautiful prairie while getting a glimpse of Spring Creek meandering through the preserve.

Wauponsee Glacial Trail—Sugar Creek Access in Joliet: 10 to 11:30 a.m., October 29. Bicycle 8.5 miles along a beautiful, reclaimed, abandoned railway path.
