The Ravinia Winter Farmers Market returns to Highland Park this season with two welcoming indoor locations, both offering a warm place to shop local throughout the colder months. Running from mid-January through late April, the market features fresh microgreens, handcrafted foods, baked treats, seasonal plants and artisan-made goods from local growers and makers.
“We expanded to two indoor markets this season to keep the winter season experience strong and consistent while continuing to support our vendors and shoppers,” says market manager Ed Kugler. “Each location offers a cozy, community-focused atmosphere where people can connect with local food producers all winter long.”
Markets happen weekly on Fridays and Saturdays. The Braeside Market takes place Fridays from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., January 16 through April 24. The Ravinia Indoor Market is held Saturdays from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., January 10 through April 25, at Wayfarer Theaters in downtown Highland Park. Both locations are Metra-accessible and offer convenient parking.
Locations: Braeside Market: 55 St. Johns Ave., Highland Park; and Ravinia Indoor Market at Wayfarer Theaters, 1850 Second St., Highland Park (free indoor parking). For more information, visit RaviniaFarmersMarket.com. For vendor inquiries, call Ed Kugler at 847-579-9080.
