The Theosophical Society will host the TheosoFEST Mind Body Spirit Festival from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on September 12 on its 40-acre grounds in Wheaton. The free, family-friendly festival will feature more than 100 vendors, vegetarian food, wellness activities, educational talks and attractions for visitors of all ages.

Throughout the day, attendees can take part in tai chi, yoga, intuitive readings, forest bathing and a Circle of Peace labyrinth meditation. Other activities include a shamanic despacho ceremony and talks exploring astrology, sacred friendships, theosophy, Indigenous wisdom and the Kabbalah.

This year’s event will also feature a centennial celebration marking the 100th anniversary of the Theosophical Society’s presence in Wheaton. The inaugural TheosoFEST was held in 1990 in conjunction with the Council for the Parliament of the World’s Religions. The festival has grown over the years, attracting thousands of visitors.

The grounds offer additional opportunities for exploration, including a world-class library, Quest Book Shop and Buddha Meditation Garden. A festive Kids’ Korner will provide activities for younger visitors.

The first 150 attendees will receive a free reusable tote filled with vendor goodies while supplies last.

Admission is free; $5 parking. Location: 1926 N. Main St., Wheaton. For more information or to apply to be a vendor, visit Theosophical.org/theosofest.
