Dr. Zeiger Partners with Mark Drugs

David J. Zeiger, DO, of HealthWorks Integrative Medical Clinic, is a board-certified physician specializing in integrative medicine and family medicine, and is exclusively seeing patients in his office at Mark Drugs-Deerfield. He has been treating patients for both chronic and acute illnesses such as irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), thyroid disorders, hypertension, obesity, anxiety, fibromyalgia, asthma, chronic fatigue syndrome, mold toxicity, diabetes, headaches, herniated lumbar discs, carpal tunnel syndrome and neuromuscular pain for more than 30 years.

As a certifying physician in the Illinois Medical Cannabis pilot program, Zeiger has in-depth knowledge of cannabinoids CBD/CBG/THC and their use for specific medical issues.

A graduate of the University of Osteopathic Medicine and Health Sciences with a residency at Saint Joseph Hospital and Medical Center, in Chicago, he is a fellow of the American Academy of Family Practice and past president of the American Association of Orthopedic Medicine. Also, as a member of the American Academy of Family Practice, Zeiger lectures on bioidentical hormone replacement therapy, prolotherapy and integrative approaches to IBS, autoimmune thyroiditis and rheumatoid arthritis.
