DGC Sprouts Composting and Vermiculture

Be ready to get curious! We will learn all about worms, bugs, compost, decomposition, and ways to make your garden more sustainable!

Sprouts families are invited to gather in the Sprouts Learning Garden for hands-on lessons on composting! Learn how to turn the compost bin. Find out how to start your own vermiculture bin for your home. Explore the compost cycle and how vegetable scraps can be turned into nutrient-rich compost.

Please note, this event will be held outdoors at the Sprouts Learning Garden at St. John Lutheran Church. In case of inclement weather, enter door 3 for the basement meeting room. Garden tending begins at 5pm, the monthly meeting begins at 6pm.

NOTES:

All are welcome to attend.

A responsible adult must accompany children.

Please register for one ticket per family participating.
