Ease into the holidays with a class in guided Loving Kindness meditation, led by Buddhist monk Bhante Sujatha, from 4 to 5:30 p.m., December 10, at Total Body Yoga, in Mundelein.
Meditation can help to reduce stress, anxiety, worry and depression. A focused mind helps to heal and enhance relationships with others, as well as helping to gain a sense of empowerment over challenging issues in life. Loving Kindness will also help individuals get insights into their life’s purpose, awaken to the blessings of the present moment and attain unshakable inner peace.
