New Weight-Loss Program from Chicago Back Center

The Chicago Back Center (CBC) is launching a new HCG Metabolic Program for 2012. Human chorionic gonadotropin (HCG), found in high amounts in pregnant women, is the hormone that is checked in a pregnancy test to detect whether a woman is pregnant or not.

In the 1950s, Dr. Albert Simeons found that HCG helps people lose weight by releasing abnormal fat storage pockets in the body, allowing the fat to be burned as fuel. With this observation in mind, Simeons created the HCG diet protocol, which combines HCG hormone with a special very-low-calorie diet. CBC’s Dr. Nancy Gomez says, “When the protocol is followed precisely, one may expect to lose a pound a day.”

Gomez uses a pharmaceutical-grade homeopathic HCG preparation, along with Simeons’ 500-calorie protocol for their program.  She states, “In my research, I have found that most physicians that offer both HCG forms (prescription and homeopathic) have determined that both methods are equally effective.”

The HCG Metabolic Program at CBC consists of a pre-HCG detoxification protocol, a 42-day homeopathic HCG protocol with supportive nutrients, a metabolic resetting stage and post-HCG diet protocols. After the 42-day HCG diet has been completed, a 30-day metabolic re-setting program begins, to allow the body to function at a new lower weight and maximize permanent fat loss as it transitions into the ideal caloric range provided by healthy eating habits.
