When people are told by their doctor to improve their diet and lifestyle habits, it is usually because they want to feel better, experience increased energy and improve overall health with more sleep, less stress, weight loss, reduced food cravings, improved digestion and better fitness lifestyle habits.

What makes a health coach unique is the ability to truly listen to their clients. The art of listening is one of the greatest skills in a coach’s repertoire, and the key to effectively helping people. The benefits of employing a health coach include the consistent support, personal attention, advice and accountability to stay on track.

During a typical six-month coaching program, clients may have two 50-minute appointments each month. Studies show that six months is the amount of time needed to create long-term habits. Clients will see results that last because they have implemented sustainable changes gradually over a period of time by making better food, exercise and lifestyle choices that increases the probability that they will continue with these activities after the completion of the program.
