Free Detoxification Workshop

Dr. Nick LeRoy, director of the Illinois Center for Progressive Health, and Rachelle Meade, RN, LDN, will host a workshop at the Chicago Center from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., May 3. Meade, a highly experienced nutritional consultant, will lead the discussion, which will explore the chemistry and science behind detox.

Participants will learn what detoxification specifically means, how to facilitate it and what nutrients are necessary for it to occur efficiently without unnecessarily burdening the body. Attendees will also have the opportunity to identify whether they are in need of detoxification, and a 10-day detox and a 28-day detox program will be discussed in detail.
