Thriving in an Age of Turmoil, Change Loss and Grief

The Edgar Cayce Holistic Center (A.R.E.) will present a series of programs entitled, Who Am I Now?: Coping with Change and Loss In Times of Turmoil. Don’t miss these opportunities to meet others on similar paths, share insights and learn techniques and strategies to keep moving forward, things we start using immediately.

January 16: Signs From Our Loved Ones—an open discussion forum led by a bereaved mom, with author and workshop leader Sara Ruble plus Deneene Florino, from 7 to 9 p.m.

January 17: Two half-day workshops with Ruble; Who Am I Now? from 10 a.m. to noon; and Sole/Soul Journey, from 1:30 to 4:30 p.m.

February 21: Uncovering the Hidden Gifts from the Grief Journey, with healer and teacher Ramaa Krishnan, from 10 a.m. to to 4:30 p.m.

March 7: Awakening to the Goodness in Grief, with writer, producer and workshop leader Theresa Puskar, from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Ruble lost her only son, Scott, in 1994. Since then, she has become a published author, writes a blog (Death Teaches) and conducts national workshops on grieving. Florino holds degrees in psychology, biology and theology from DePaul University. She worked as a hospice counselor, is a published author and a member of the Chicago Area Team of Edgar Cayce’s ARE and has conducted international workshops on grief for many years. Ramaa Krishnan, founder of the Full Bloomed Lotus Center, in Wilmette, has helped people contend with the issues of fear, grief and life’s many challenges for the better part of two decades.
