Good Food is Fun Food

The informative, inspiring and fun 11th annual FamilyFarmed Good Food Festival and Conference, held from March 19 to 21, is leading the Good Food movement that’s transforming the way we eat for the better. Chicago’s UIC Forum is hosting this celebration of entrepreneurs and producers that are rapidly expanding our local and sustainable food systems in the Midwest.

On Thursday, the Good Food Financing and Innovation Conference connects funders with food businesses to be enhanced with presentations by fellows in FamilyFarmed’s Good Food Business Accelerator.

On Friday, the Good Food Trade Show, Food Policy Conference and School Food Conference have three powerful tracks for food industry experts, the trade and food policy makers. In the evening, the Localicious Party pairs regional farmers with Chicago’s top chefs that value local sourcing.

On Saturday, the Good Food Festival presents the biggest public gathering in the three-day event, featuring a day of inspiring speakers, workshops, demonstrations, a trade show floor and more. Visitors will learn from Chicago’s top chefs and get tips from gardeners, food artisans, and more at the DIY-focused Good Food Commons. The exhibit hall is the place to meet more than 150 Good Food producers and vendors. There will be great food for purchase, and for the first time at the festival, craft beverages.

FamilyFarmed is family-friendly, with a Kids’ Corner sponsored by Purple Asparagus. Catch the Urban Farm Bus Tour and visit four locations that are growing food and jobs right in Chicago.
