Veggie Pride Parade in Grant Park Supports Healthy Food Choices
Apr 26, 2015 12:47AM
The fourth annual Chicago Veggie Pride Parade will take place at noon, May 30, in Grant Park, celebrating vegetarian and vegan lifestyles. Part of a national movement, the parade is intended to raise awareness about the benefits of a plant-based diet. With music, costumes, activities and lots of fun, the parade is family- and pet-friendly.
Everyone and anyone is invited to join in the walk, socialize and learn about or celebrate the vegetarian lifestyle for ethical, environmental, health or spiritual reasons. The mission of the parade is to unify the voices of everyone that sees an advantage to a plant-based diet and wishes to share and promote it and bring public attention to the global impact of our food choices.
