Midwest Gluten Free and Allergen Friendly Expo

The Midwest Gluten Free and Allergen Friendly Expo will take place from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., May 14 and 15, at the Schaumburg Convention Center. The expo offers a social gathering place for gluten-free families in the Chicagoland area.

More than 140 exhibitors will be on hand, offering samples of hundreds of gluten-free products and services. Informative classes by well-known leaders in the gluten-free and allergen-friendly community will be held throughout the event. Dan Chapman, of Sunrise Health Food Store, in Lansing, will discuss natural advancement in pain relief; Jenna Drew, named Celiac Awareness All-Star by the National Foundation of Celiac Awareness, will discuss essential oils for digestive wellness; and nutritional cook and baker Jill Motew will educate attendees about injecting ancient grains into everyday life.
