Gain Tips on Getting Refreshing Sleep

Amy Landolt

Licensed Acupuncturist Amy Landolt helps people reclaim their sleep with her Get Some Shut Eye method, which incorporates acupuncture, essential oils, herbs, supplements and lifestyle changes. She will present a workshop, Get Some Shut Eye: Fall Asleep Quickly and Wake Refreshed, 3 to 4 p.m., November 12, in the Business Center of the Skokie Public Library.

Attendees will learn about the five pillars of a good night’s sleep in the Get Some Shut Eye method; receive samples of an essential oil blend and a tea created specifically to support restful sleep; and practice simple techniques they can apply immediately to reclaim their sleep.

Landolt has been passionate about finding natural ways to improve sleep since dealing with her own insomnia. It was only after a combination of acupuncture, massage and yoga that she was able to sleep through the night and wake rested and refreshed. She advises, “I learned to take the lead in managing my health and fully leverage natural alternatives, and I love helping others do the same.”
