Spring is the time for
plant sales, and despite the COVID-19 pandemic, organizations, nonprofits and
independent garden centers have been creative in meeting the requirements of
statewide stay-at-home mandates and social distancing requirements. Many spring
plant sales are still on schedule, but have moved online for ordering, with
delivery and curbside pick-up options.

The MikeNowak Show radio team has created a comprehensive list of virtual plant sales and similar events on their website, updated regularly as new sales are announced. Many of these annual events are nonprofit fundraisers, and community support is crucial right now.
Keep growing plants at home—whether it’s vegetables, native plants, herbs in containers or a comforting hanging planter. While shopping for plants, please be sure to wear a mask, follow official state guidelines, maintain appropriate distancing and follow site manager instructions to keep everyone safe.
