Online Fundraiser to Support Responsible Canine Rescue

The Second City Canine Rescue's sixth annual Cocktails for Canines gala will take place online from 7 to 8:30 p.m., November 7. Their motto, “rescuing responsibly,” means holding the event virtually for the health and safety of all the wonderful supporters and volunteers.

The nonprofit relies on funds raised at Cocktails for Canines to operate its rescue and adoption center year-round, so cancelling altogether due to COVID-19 was not an option. There are some great entertainment and fundraising activities planned as they celebrate the official grand opening of a new adoption center with a virtual tour.
