MCC Presents Forefront: Ideas in Food and Farming Online Lecture Series

The McHenry County College (MCC) fall speaker series, Forefront: Ideas in Food and Farming, hosted by the Center for Agrarian Learning, will feature Whole Grain Supply Chain at 1 p.m., November 15, and Regenerative Agriculture: Details of a Profitable Journey at 1 p.m., December 13.
These sessions, a great way for everyone to learn more about our local food system, will only be presented in a virtual format and are no cost to attend.

Sheri Doyel, director of the Center for Agrarian Learning at MCC, says, “While we wish we could be meeting in person, providing these sessions virtually allows us to reach even more people who may have otherwise been unable to attend. We’re eager to share this valuable information with our community at a time when local agriculture has become more important than ever.”

The MCC Center for Agrarian Learning was launched in 2019 as a resource hub to connect growers to the people and ideas they need to know to be able to succeed via noncredit classes, seminars and technical assistance.
