Nirvana Naturopathics, in Deerfield, is offering Celluma LED light therapy. The U.S. Food and Drug Administration-approved medical device uses low-level light therapy for the treatment of wrinkles, acne, diminished local blood circulation, muscle and joint stiffness, muscle tissue tension, muscle and joint pain, muscle spasms, arthritis and dermal wound healing.

Celluma is safe, painless, effective and flexible enough to conform to all areas of the body. The technology was developed by NASA. Just as Chinese medicine therapies such as acupuncture, herbal remedies, cupping and moxibustion encourage the body to heal itself, the light diodes in Celluma have the power to trigger skin and human tissue to repair itself.
