Raby Institute Offers New Vaginal Health Service

The Raby Institute is one of only four medical offices in Chicago to offer an innovative laser treatment, MonaLisa Touch, to relieve vaginal atrophy; a painful thinning, drying and inflammation of the vaginal walls, and is safe for women that cannot use hormones.
The MonaLisa Touch uses a laser to promote vaginal wall health by stimulating collagen production, which restores metabolic balance, lessening pain during intercourse and urination. Integrative Gynecologist Katherine A. Thurer, M.D., states, “Now we have something else in our armament besides hormones, which work for some people but not others. This new approach goes with our mission of healing ourselves.”
Thurer, Dr. Theri Griego Raby and Dr. Dominic Patawaran are all available to perform the minimally invasive procedure in the office, with no anesthesia necessary. Patients can expect virtually no pain or side effects from the three, five-minute laser sessions.
Location: 500 N. Michigan Ave., Ste. 2100, Chicago. To schedule an appointment, call 312-276-1212. For more information, visit RabyInstitute.com.
