Flotstone Outreach Events in August

Flotstone Float Therapy will feature guest speakers Bridget Wennerbeck and Shayna Olufs, from Conscious Circles, at 5:30 p.m., August 13. Participants will learn about what they can gain from meaningful connections with women in the community and how consciousness can lead to fulfillment.

Conscious Circles is a membership-based organization offering biweekly meetups (circles) where women come together to connect, relax, learn and grow through experiential learning, community and authentic expression. Their mission is to build conscious communities, cultivate meaningful relationships and support personal and professional growth.

Flotstone partners with Heller Catering to present Cooking With CBD! with guest speaker Catherine O’Meara at 5 p.m., August 27. She will explore the benefits and methods of cooking with cannabidiol (CBD) oil, which is known to reduce anxiety and aid sleep.

O’Meara is one of the top organic caterers on the Northshore, with a degree in culinary arts from Le Cordon Bleu. She is the former director of catering at Wheaton College and owner of a country French restaurant in Michigan.
