Green Drinks in Libertyville Starting this Month

Those interested in the environment, sustainability and our community and want to meet others that share these interests in a social atmosphere should head on over to Green Drinks Libertyville, part of a global movement intended to bring people together to meet, discuss issues of environmental importance and build awareness and consensus to address them. Starting in June, the group will meet at 6:30 p.m. on the second Tuesday of each month at O’Toole’s Pub, in Libertyville.

Meetings are held in an informal setting with the idea that having beer, wine or tea together helps foster a relaxed social atmosphere. Each meeting will feature a short presentation on a relevant topic, followed by a discussion period. All are welcome to think globally and act locally.

Location: 412 N. Milwaukee Ave., Libertyville. For more information, visit Facebook.com/greendrinkslibertyville or GreenDrinks.org.
