Presentation Helps You to Prepare for Future Medical Situations

Lynne Belsky, M.D.

To prepare for the possibility of you or a loved one being abruptly thrown into the chaotic, confusing state of chronic or terminal illness, learn what information is necessary and how to put it all together. Tory Zellick, author of The Medical Day Planner: The Guide to Help Navigate The Medical Maze, and Concierge Internist Lynne Belsky, M.D., will give a presentation on Wisdom and Tools for Caregiving-Navigating the Medical Maze, at 7 p.m., November 7, at the Levy Senior Center, in Evanston.

Zellick was inspired to write her book after she cared for her mother though a terminal illness. She found there was much to organize, including appointments, tests and the many legal aspects of care. Belsky will speak about how a primary care physician can help you to better understand and focus on what is necessary to achieve healthcare goals.
