End the Silence About Endometriosis
March
is Endometriosis Awareness Month and team Chicago is hosting its third annual
Awareness Walk and symposium March 28 at the Palmer House Hilton with an
awareness walk through downtown Chicago, near Millennium Park and Grant Park.
Endometriosis
is a painful, chronic disease that is incurable and affects the reproductive
system of one in 10 women and girls. The walk and one-day symposium are
intended to raise awareness, educate women about treatment and provider
options, and support those with this often-debilitating disease. The nonprofit Worldwide
EndoMarch sponsors EndoMarch and World Endometriosis Day events around the
globe to raise awareness about endometriosis.
