MC Spa is Highland Park’s New, Green Salon

Jim Bisiorek, who started the Highland Park barber shop Mane Cutters in 1983, has taken a big turn in a natural direction and renamed his salon as MC Spa. Bisiorek teamed up with Elinor Milos, an expert stylist, colorist and licensed medical esthetician who has embraced organic concepts. After doing extensive research, Milos has introduced two brand-new environmentally friendly product lines at MC Spa.

Kemon is a hair care product line from Italy that has used environmentally friendly practices since 1959. All ingredients are free of ammonia, paraben, sulfite, silicon and gluten and the products do not contain para-phenylenediamine (PPD).

Benedetta 100 percent botanical skin care products, from Sonoma County, California, make a perfect complement to Kamon and are also available exclusively at MC Spa. The line is completely eco-friendly and sourced from certified organic and biodynamic area farms.
