Practical Spirituality Lecture Series Starts in February
The Churches of Christ, Scientist across metro
Chicago are offering a free lecture series, Spirituality – Its Presence in Your
Life. Eight events will be held between February 9 and the end of June.
Themes to be explored include Learning to Live
with Less Fear, Exploring Prayer and its Benefits, Experiencing More of Heaven
Now, Cultivating Your Relationship With the Divine and Discovering What True
Humility Brings.
The speakers come from across the country, bringing
a wealth of experience practicing practical spirituality. They will be sharing
from their personal experiences and introducing ideas from the bestselling
book, Science and Health with Key to
the Scriptures, by Mary Baker Eddy, and
the Bible.
Never Alone: How God’s Ideas Work in Us will be
presented by Melanie Wahlberg at 4 p.m., March 7, and 2 p.m., March 8, during
the Body Mind Spirit Expo at the Midwest Conference Center, in Northlake.
