Surfrider Chicago and paddle partner Kayak Chicago hosted a great turnout for the Pipe Out Paddle Protest – Chicago on September 1 at Montrose Beach, in Chicago, to raise awareness and foster activism in support of protecting our Great Lakes waters and shutting down Enbridge Line 5, an aging oil pipeline that runs under the Straits of Mackinac.
